The new Choose Another Way website is now live. To get started on travel planning use the homepage starter application, simply answer a few questions and it will give you pointers on how to get started promoting more sustainable transport choices.

I stumbled across this web-site by accident but am hoping it will become a good forum for all parties interested in influencing modal shift.

Anyway, I am looking at undertaking a referesher course on transportation engineering, with specific reference to travel planning.

Can anyone point me in right direction?

Hi
PTRC (www.ptrc-training.co.uk) offer some good transport courses, including a 20 week evening seminar programme which covers transport engineering, planning and would also touch on travel planning. Alternatively ACT Travelwise (www.acttravelwise.org) offer a number of travel planning specific courses, many of which are just one day sessions, although they are often located in England. Hope this helps.

Fiona.
